Therefore The Anglo-European Miniature Horse Society is now offering a Microchip service.

You can purchase ‘Equi-Data Microchip kits’ from the AEMHS at a very competitive rate

The AEMHS Equi-Data Microchip Kit  consists of a disposable syringe containing one chip and 4 bar code stickers.

When ordering 1 to 9 Kits each kit is £14.99

When ordering 10 or more Kits each kit is £12.99

You will need one kit per horse and you arrange for your Vet to implant it.

At the moment, Microchips have to be implanted by a Vet (in the UK), but this is not the law in all EU countries where Microchipping is compulsory.

This can be done at the same time as your Vet is filling in ID / markings or when vaccinating or on a routine visit.

All horses Microchipped with AEMHS Equi-Data Microchips will have their numbers recorded on our database.

PLUS it will also be recorded for free on the NATIONAL EQUINE DATABASE, regardless of Society registration / passport.
